PreK 4

Our PreK 4 class is open to children ages 4 – 5 years old. Class size is limited to 20 students and is supervised by a teacher and an aide. Class is offered weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with optional extended care available from 7:30 a..m. to 5:30 p.m. Half-day & full-day schedules are available 3 – 5 days a week. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are prepared on-site and included in tuition on the days & hours during which the child attends school.

Our students in PK4 increase their academic skills by leaps and bounds during the course of the year! They enter the school year with a preschool mindset, and exit as confident students ready to take on the challenges of Kindergarten.

As four-year-old begin to experience a greater sense of who they are, and their curiosity expands to include more of who they will become, the Pre-Kindergarten Program emphasizes the children’s desire to make independent and wise choices for their good and the good of all. The children will learn and develop many concepts and skills with the guidance of their teachers and parents. These concepts and skills will include opposites, thinking skills, motor skills, beginning phonics; reading readiness, numbers and counting, visual discrimination, sizes, shapes, colors, rhymes and the alphabet.? In addition, children will become involved in extracurricular academic activities, like music, computer skills, music, gym and dance lessons.
