My name is Melissa Leonardo and I am a teacher assistant for Pre-K3 class here at Magic Kingdom Day Nursery. I was born in the Dominican Republic and decided that I wanted to move to the United States in search of a better life. Upon coming here, I realized that I have a passion for working with children. I began working at Frances Jacobson Early Childhood with children between the ages of three and five. Now I am working here with an amazing group of kids and supportive staff. I enjoy helping the children with their daily lessons and doing fun activities which promote purposeful learning. I am currently working towards my bachelor’s degree in education. My long-term goal is to be able to teach in my own class.
